Our Team JOSÉ LUIS AMARÉ GÓMEZ Jose Luis Amaré was born in Mexico, D. F. on November 24, 1944 and began his professional activities in 1965 as an assistant auditor in the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Co. ' s (locally Ruiz, Urquiza y Cía., S. C.) He worked for this international firm until 1972, having progressed to the level of audit manager. He graduated as a certified public accountant from the College of Commerce and Administration of the University of Mexico in June, 1979, and is a member of the Colegio de Contadores de México, A. C. and of the Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos, A. C. In 1973 he founded the public accounting firm of Despacho José Luis Amaré y Asociados, S. C., in which he had worked uninterruptedly until today, rendering personally and through the personnel of the firm, professional services in public accounting and financial consulting. He has been active in professional associations and involved in teaching. He was a professor of Professional Problems in the University of Mexico during 1967 to 1968 and professor of costs in the Universidad Tecnológica de México from 1969 to 1972. He was also a member of the Commission of Accounting Principles of the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants from 1969 to 1972. He was president of the Commission of Audit and Control of the Colegio de Contadores Publicos de México, A.C. in 1996. He has participated in various audit courses and seminars of costs, taxes and administration, as well as in courses on corporate organization, valuation of companies and other financial and tax aspects in various institutes such as ITAM and the Institute for International Research. In 1998, the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants conferred him a special degree #73 as Certified Public Accountant as a recognition of his professional activity. He is a member of the board of directors and committees of several companies. |
